Hyde Park Health Center, a leading provider of long term care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in greater Cincinnati is looking for a dynamic, hard-working leader to join us as the Manager of our Transitional Care Unit. You must possess strong knowledge of rules and regulations, excellent communication and organization skills, the leadership skills to inspire staff and the creativity to make the quality of life better for our residents
HPHC’s Transitional Care Unit (TCU) is a skilled, specialized 25-bed unit that offers a fast-paced, challenging environment. Our dynamic nursing team utilizes its expertise to provide sub-acute care, such as IV therapy, post-op cardiac, wound and infection care; and care for patients with medically complex conditions such as stroke, pneumonia and orthopedic injuries.
The primary purpose of this position is to direct, oversee, and monitor the nursing services provided on this specialized unit. The Manager shall support, educate, evaluate and provide clinical expertise to Health Services. This position also assists and may, as needed perform the day to day nursing activities on that unit and perhaps throughout the facility.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in nursing, current Ohio license, two to five years nursing experience with relevant experience in long term care or hospital step down unit.
